Everything is perfect

This letter is to thank you for our kitchen. Everything is perfect. Your company and all the tradesmen did and turned up exactly when they said they would. The work was carried out effectively and efficiently. Everyone was charming, answered all my questions regardless of how silly they might have been with answers I could understand, nothing was too much trouble. I was also impressed that each tradesman cleaned up after they had finished their part of the job. The kitchen and the experience of having it built were all that I had hoped for.

quality people

Well-deserved thanks must go to the P & K team who came armed with quality trade skills and great attitudes. I was particularly impressed with the way they worked so well as a team, a great bunch of people; it was a real pleasure having them work on the house. They helped transform my house from a very dated and dysfunctional shambles to a fresh, functional and comfortable living space that looks fantastic. I love it, as do all my family and friends. I can’t thank you enough for the great job. P & K Joinery certainly provides quality – quality workmanship, quality materials and quality people.

left you to it

Robert and I just want to thank you for the brilliant job you did with the renovations of our home. You designed and produced a kitchen that we are very proud of. The quality of the work is marvellous and the attention to detail so impressive. The job was not a simple one with the need to remove a supporting wall, and it has really changed the look of the house. Everything that we discussed with you prior to the work being done was remembered and recorded and you were so willing to spend a lot of time and effort at the planning stage. We were so confident in you and your staff that we went overseas and left you to it. Our confidence was entirely justified and we returned to a renovation that delights us. We were also impressed that you contacted us when you felt that something we had signed off on just would not work and you were so right. There were no hidden costs or agenda’s, everything was upfront and transparent but in addition little extra things were done around the home without a fuss or additional cost. A great job that gives us enormous pleasure, please extend our thanks to all who were involved in the work.

History

At P&K Joinery, we have been providing our clients with exceptional service, design and craftsmanship for over thirty years in Canberra and surrounds. Our business has grown to become one of Canberra’s most well-known and celebrated award winning kitchen and design manufacturers.

P&K Joinery was founded in January 1985 by Director, Peter Vincent. The business was established in small premises in Whyalla St in Fyshwick; originally created to supply kitchens to a large, local building company.

Steve Berkeley joined P&K Joinery in 1988 and became part owner in 1990. Over the years the business continued to grow until finally in 1990, we moved to larger premises, our current location in Hoskins St Mitchell, ACT.

In 1992, we received our first industry award - Housing Industry Australia (HIA) Best Kitchen. We continue to be proud of the awards and recognition we receive for our projects.

Over the next ten years P&K Joinery became a very well respected business, known for our attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Rod Barrett joined the team in 2001, followed by Peter Klein in 2003. Both became part owners of the business in 2006 and 2013, bringing with them extensive skills and enthusiasm.

In 2006 we expanded our portfolio to include bathroom renovations and domestic building works. We had listened carefully to our client’s needs, and wanted to be able to provide a complete service when it came to renovation. This also included the employment of a specialist tiler and carpenter, to ensure the highest level of quality was maintained.

We are firm believers in putting back into the community and have trained over 25 local apprentices and continue to participate in work experience programs for local schools.

While our business continues to grow, we are committed to maintaining a customer focused service and providing you with quality workmanship.
